What this tool actually does
Truth Response Builder helps you build biblical worldview integration into any lesson, in a few minutes, using a simple four-move framework: Reveal Truth, Expose the Lie, Connect to Life, and Practice Response.
Three ways to use it
Build My Lesson is for when you only have your curriculum objectives, no lesson written yet, and want a complete, ready-to-teach lesson built around them. Build Biblical Integration is for when you already know what you're teaching and just want the four moves created from scratch. Integrate My Lesson is for when you already have a lesson plan, or just your objectives, and want the app to find the natural place to add a Truth Response Moment.
You don't need to be a theology expert
The app does the heavy lifting of connecting your subject to Scripture in context. Your job is to review what it gives you, adjust anything that doesn't fit your students, and choose the Practice Response you like best.
How to use this walkthrough
Click through the steps on the left, or use Next below each section. It takes about five minutes, and you can come back to any section later.
Logging in with your access code
There's no account to create. The first time you use any tool, you'll be asked for your school access code.
You only do this once per device. After you enter your code, your browser remembers you for 30 days. If you switch computers, or it's been a while, you may need to enter it again.
Build My Lesson
Use this when you haven't written the lesson yet at all, just your curriculum objectives. The app builds a complete, bell-to-bell lesson around them and places one Truth Response Moment at the strongest natural point.
Fill in the basics
Subject, grade level, class length, and your lesson topic. Then paste your curriculum objectives exactly as written, the app preserves them, it never replaces or waters them down.
Standards and materials are optional, but helpful
Paste a specific standard if you have one. If you leave it blank, the app can suggest a verified match for recognized Florida subjects. You can also paste in textbook content, vocabulary, or notes you want the lesson to use.
Click Build Complete Lesson
You'll get a full bell-to-bell lesson, bell ringer through exit ticket, with concrete teacher directions and student tasks at every step, not vague placeholders. Every section starts collapsed to just its title, tap one to read it, or use Expand All to open everything at once.
The Truth Response Moment is placed where it actually fits
The app reasons through your whole lesson first, then places the one Truth Response Moment at the strongest natural worldview hinge, wherever that occurs, not automatically at the beginning, middle, or end. Hover or tap any Bible reference to read the actual verse right there.
Truth Response Moment · 6 min
Placed after Guided Practice, where the lesson naturally raises a question about order and design.
Add a parent take-home if you want one
Check the box before building, and you'll also get a short conversation starter for parents, tied to the same truth the lesson teaches.
Copy or print the whole thing
Both buttons produce the same content. Copy carries real formatting, bold headings and color, straight into Word or Google Docs, not just plain text.
Build Biblical Integration
Use this when you know your lesson and want the four moves built for you.
Choose your subject and grade level
Pick the subject you teach and the grade band your students are in. The app adjusts vocabulary and question difficulty to match.
Describe what you're teaching
A sentence or two is enough. The more specific you are about the actual concept, the better the connection will be.
Review the four moves
You'll get Reveal Truth, Expose the Lie, Connect to Life, and Practice Response. Grades 6 and up also get an optional harder "Go Deeper" question.
1. Reveal Truth
God designed creation with interdependence and order...
2. Expose the Lie
What culture says: living things exist independently...
Not quite right? Regenerate just that piece
Each move has its own "Try Another" button. You never have to start over just to fix one part.
Pick a Practice Response, then copy or print
Choose the option that fits your class, then use either button, they always produce the exact same content.
Integrate My Lesson
Use this when you already have a lesson plan written, or just your objectives, and want to find the natural place to add a Truth Response Moment.
Paste your lesson
Whatever you already have works, an agenda, a formal lesson plan, a Google Classroom post. The app looks for real instructional detail, not a particular format.
Choose subject and grade level, then integrate
Same as Build, this shapes vocabulary and question difficulty.
Review the suggested placement
You'll see exactly where in your existing lesson the Truth Response Moment fits, and why that spot was chosen.
Copy or print the finished outline
Same as Build, both buttons produce identical content, use whichever fits how you work.
If it asks for more detail: that just means it couldn't find enough description of what students actually do. Add a short line describing the task, for example "Students define key terms and give examples," and try again.
The rest of the toolkit
These three are optional, but useful once Build and Integrate feel comfortable.
Learn the Framework
A short reference on the four moves and how the language should shift by grade level, worth skimming once up front.
Practice Coach
Build your own skill at this with fresh scenarios and feedback. Guided Practice walks you through it step by step, Challenge Me tests you cold, and My Lesson coaches you through a real lesson of yours.
Context Check
Paste a Bible passage and how you plan to use it, and get an honest check on whether the verse actually teaches what you want it to, in context.
Good to know
A few quick answers to what usually comes up first.
Do I need to log in every time?
No. Once you enter your access code, your browser remembers you for 30 days on that device.
What if I don't like one part of the result?
Use the "Try Another" button on just that section, Reveal Truth, Expose the Lie, Connect to Life, Go Deeper, or Practice Response. Everything else stays exactly as it was.
What's the difference between Copy and Print?
Nothing about the content, they're always identical. Use Copy if you're pasting into a document you already have open, use Print if you want a paper copy or a PDF.
Why did Integrate My Lesson ask me for more detail?
It's checking that your pasted lesson has enough real description of what students will do. Add one clear sentence about the actual task and try again.
Who do I ask if something isn't working?
Reach out to Mr. Bruton directly, this is a pilot, and real feedback from you is exactly what makes it better.
Ready to start? You'll receive your access code directly, once you have it, just head to the site and you're in.
